Adam C. Brown, DPM

Adam Brown, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon who has helped countless patients over his 25 years in practice. He has a passion for assisting athletes to return to their chosen sports as quickly as possible, as well as special interest in reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Brown attended the College of Charleston and graduated with a BS in Biology in 1993. He then pursued his medical degree at Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami Shores, FL where he graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1998. Dr. Brown completed his postgraduate training with a 3-year reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery residency at the Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida.

Dr. Brown is on the medical staff at Roper St. Francis Hospital, East Cooper Medical Center and James Island Surgery Center. He is board-certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and ABMSP (Podiatric Sports Medicine) and is an active member/fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

Dr. Brown has professional memberships with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

Having competed at the collegiate level in baseball for the College of Charleston, 1990-1993, and remaining active in various sporting activities to this day, Dr. Brown enjoys using his skills and experience to help athletes of all ages return to play and maintain peak performance.

Andrew Saffer, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon licensed in both South Carolina and Florida. Dr. Saffer has nearly two decades of experience treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions, with specialties in sports medicine and reconstructive foot surgery.

Dr. Saffer completed his undergraduate studies with a BS in Biology at the College of Charleston in 1994 before earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (Kent State University) in Cleveland, OH in 1999. Dr. Saffer then completed a rigorous 3-year reconstructive Foot and Ankle surgical residency at Northside Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.

Dr. Saffer is affiliated with two Mount Pleasant, SC. hospitals: East Cooper Medical Center and Roper Mount Pleasant Hospital. He is board-certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and ABMSP (Podiatric Sports Medicine) and is an active member/fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

As an athlete competing in TaeKwondo, and local 5K/10K/1/2 marathon runs, Dr. Saffer is committed to helping athletes return to their passion for sports through expert care in his private practice. He also serves as Team Podiatrist for USA Taekwondo Master's Association (Southeast).
